Regular Sunday Brunch expands to both Saturday and Sunday
It’s almost a given that Mother’s Day is brunch day, and taking Mom to Osteria La Madia on Sunday, May 8 is one sure way to make this a delicious, colorful and memorable day. Mother’s Day Brunch will be served from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., featuring a special menu from Chef Jonathan Fox, plus wonderful gifts for Mom, including a $25 gift certificate for a return visit and a box of housemade truffles. Guests can order a la carte from the menu or choose the prix fixe-one antipasti and one entrée or pizza with a glass of prosecco or a bellini-for $22 per person.

Start your Mother’s Day brunch with a Bellini toast to Mom. Osteria La Madia’s version is made with fresh peach puree blended with Nino Franco Prosecco ($12). Then, start your meal with anti-pasti including a Giant Brioche Cinnamon Roll with bourbon cheese frosting ($6); Seasonal Fruit and Housemade Yogurt with wildflower honey, granola, pistachio and orange ($7); Prosciutto and Asparagus with breakfast radish and preserved Meyer lemon ($11); Potato Fritters with mortadella, scallions, yogurt and frisee ($8); and a Ceci Bean Salad with quinoa, cucumber, tomato, pea tendrils, endive, almonds, and fine herb dressing ($10).
Choose from entrées like the Crispy Pork Belly with soft scrambled mozzarella eggs, and crispy potatoes ($13); Fried Egg Bruschetta, ciabatta with spinach, Nueskies bacon and fontina ($12); French Toast with almond praline, strawberries and Chantilly cream ($13); Grilled Brioche Panini with Prosciutto Cotto, provolone and arugula salad ($12); Chicken Rillette Hash with crispy potatoes, Arrabiata sauce and farm eggs ($13); and the Tuna Niçoise Salad, rare seared tuna, frisee, Lola Rosa, fingerlings potatoes, tomato and olives ($15).
Any visit to Osteria La Madia would not be complete without one of its creative and flavorful wood-fired pizzas, and brunch is no exception. Special breakfast pizzas include fingerling Potato and Egg Yolk ($13); Prosciutto Di Parma and farm egg ($18); Carbonara with Guanciale and organic egg ($18); or the Fennel Sausage and Egg ($14). Signature pizzas also are on the brunch menu, including the Pork Belly with Tuscan Kale ($16); Margherita with Bufala Mozzarella ($18); the Triple Pepperoni with white truffle oil ($17); and the 3 Hour Roasted Grape with Taleggio ($13).
